Fourth Dialogue on Exchange and Mutual Learning among Civilizations
At the end of May and the beginning of June 2025, a delegation from our civil association “Dom Polski” (“Polish House”) carried out an official visit to China lasting over a week. We were invited by the Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAFIU) to participate in the conference “Fourth Dialogue on Exchange and Mutual Learning among Civilizations”. This year, the delegation was represented by Aneta Haber, a member of the Program Council.
A partnership of over 30 years connects “Dom Polski” with CAFIU. Since 1981, CAFIU has created numerous platforms for dialogue and mutual understanding between China and foreign countries. One of its initiatives is the conference already mentioned, in which more than 350 delegates participated, including 201 from abroad. The civil association “Polish House” was the only one organization representing Polish NGOs (non-governmental organizations).
In addition to the conference, visits were planned to historical sites along the Silk Road in Gansu and Shaanxi provinces. Our delegation was part of “Multinational Group” with other international delegates, accompanied by Liu Yahang (CAFIU member) and Shi Timing (Chinese-English simultaneous interpreter).
